If neither of these options take your fancy second hand boxes can be sorced usually for free at most retail outlets/ factories.  Alternativly by typeing removal boxes into google you will find endless companies who will post boxes to your door next day delivery.  Please note though that the above two companies are trusted sources and have been proven to deliver goods on time with fantastic service. 

Things to remember when doing the packing yourselves

We are only insured to carry your items if they have been adequately packed.  We have plenty of blankets and straps on board each vehicle but these are for furniture.  Loose pictures and flat screen tvs will need bubble wrap or a card sleeve and boxes will need to be sensibly packed. 

Large boxes are not suitable to be filled with books.  The card will break and they will be difficult to lift.  Try and spread heavy loads.  Fill boxes half full with books and lighter items on top. 

Please remember to tape boxes underneath - We can not be held responsible if the underside of a box breaks whilst we are carrying it due to it not being properly secure. 

Save money on boxes with good quality black bags.  When packing soft items such as clothes and bedding for example quality liner bags are a good option.  THEY MUST BE GOOD QUALITY OTHERWISE IT IS NOT WORTH USING THEM - THEY WILL SPLIT AND BE MORE OF A HINDERANCE THAN A HELP.  Please also remember black bags are only suitable for materials.
